Responsibilities
- Provide internal support and guidance to a region of Commercial Account Executives, ensuring orders comply with company policies.
- Document Administration:
Process incoming requests from departments such as Sales, CFS, Controller, Deal Hub, Corporate Pricing, Contracts Negotiators, Corporate Legal, Consulting, Events, Client Compliance, etc. - Manage the team Outlook inbox by prioritizing emails by urgency and importance, and trigger approvals via Salesforce.
- Review and activate incoming order submissions in Salesforce for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to Gartner’s standard contract guidelines.
- Assist Sales using Salesforce case requests to ensure accurate client data is used when creating contracts.
- Hold signing authority for order agreements and ensure compliance with the legal empowerment matrix.
- Ensure compliance with Gartner corporate policy regarding document administration, including approval of any non‑standard items such as legal term changes, non‑standard SDs, non‑standard pricing, and non‑standard billing terms.
- Execute special ad‑hoc projects that are initiated to fulfill business requirements.
- Collaborate with the manager and global team to seek continuous improvement and innovation in department processes.
- Prepare instructive communications and liaise with the global Contracts Department, Client Financial Services, and Sales teams.
- Support the Contract Manager by providing first‑line support to Sales on all issues relating to sales contracts and requests, escalating to senior staff as required.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience dealing with contract matters, client legal & procurement departments, and customer order management or sales support.
- Strong verbal and written negotiation skills.
- Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Ability to excel in a fast‑growing, fast‑paced environment, delivering accuracy while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills developed in a sales‑driven environment, including strong English (written and verbal).
- Client‑facing experience with commercial awareness.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong understanding of contracts.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Willingness to assume responsibility and adapt to the role, displaying a sense of urgency to the business.
- Capacity to work within a remote team; multinational company experience is preferred.
- High work ethic and integrity.
