About this role

Gartner is currently recruiting a Sales Coordinator to provide support to the regional VP and sales leaders. Gartner is a data‑driven organization; this role requires a strong data mindset and the ability to read data and create reports.

Responsibilities
  • VP Support: general calendar management, operations reviews, weekly meetings, booking meeting rooms, and coordination of quarterly operations across teams. Work with VP to develop innovative ideas for collaboration and team engagement.
  • Data collation: extract data from various dashboards for weekly sales meetings and monthly townhalls.
  • Operational support: stay up-to-date with MS Teams/Webex enhancements, leverage tech for virtual/live meetings, and use Gartner‑approved technology for presentations.
  • Communication: establish and maintain effective communication with sales teams; ensure availability of admin tools; liaise with Facilities to maintain office space; keep an ongoing stock of marketing materials.
  • Financial: ensure all authorized expenditure follows company guidelines and is cost-effective; raise requisitions and process invoices within budget.
  • Sales Proven Practice Execution: check GSP systems for lead actioning rates; publish to SMs/VPs; follow up with AEs/SMs on unactioned leads; support high‑quality execution of quarterly sales campaigns; ensure timely purchase orders and retention lifecycle activities.
  • Marketing: attend monthly marketing meetings, inform sales team about virtual events, schedule placeholders, registration updates, and create a monthly marketing newsletter.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of relevant work experience supporting a sales organization.
  • Superior Excel skills (macros, formulas, pivots) and the ability to use data to inform decisions or tell a story; strong PowerPoint skills.
  • Effective problem‑solving, time‑management, and organization skills.
  • Desire to meet and achieve goals.
  • Ability to build credibility and relationships with senior level professionals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and competitive spirit.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
