Position Overview
Salary: 20,000 SAR per month max. Candidates must be currently based in Saudi Arabia. This exciting position involves procurement management for a large catering organisation, reporting to the General Manager.
Responsibilities- Vendor management and negotiation
- Contract management and design
- Cost negotiation and strategic sourcing
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers
- Managing purchasing officers
- Reporting on cost and purchasing information
- Visiting suppliers for assessment
- Purchasing of perishable goods
- Current residency in Saudi Arabia
- Background in food service, hotel, or catering
- Established contacts with suppliers of food and perishable goods
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with cost focus
- Solid vendor management experience
- Proficiency in Excel and Word for reporting
- Comfortable dealing with senior management
- Excellent English language skills
- Ability to transfer visas within Saudi Arabia
