The Contract Manager is responsible for managing the full contract lifecycle, including contract preparation, review, negotiation, administration, compliance monitoring, and renewal activities. The role ensures that all contractual arrangements support business objectives, minimize risk, comply with applicable laws and company policies, and protect the organization's commercial and legal interests.
Key Responsibilities Contract Management- Draft, review, and manage a wide range of commercial, procurement, service, consultancy, vendor, and partnership agreements.
- Lead the end-to-end contract lifecycle from initiation through execution, administration, renewal, amendment, and closure.
- Ensure contracts accurately reflect commercial agreements and organizational requirements.
- Maintain centralized contract repositories and ensure proper record management.
- Monitor contract obligations, deliverables, milestones, and deadlines.
- Participate in contract negotiations with clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and business partners.
- Identify contractual risks and propose appropriate mitigation measures.
- Support business units in achieving favorable contractual terms while protecting organizational interests.
- Coordinate with Legal and business stakeholders to resolve contractual issues.
- Develop and maintain contract management policies, procedures, templates, and standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve contract management processes and controls.
- Support automation and digitalization initiatives related to contract management systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Contract Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Master's degree is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CPCM, CCM, CIPS, PMP, or equivalent are preferred.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in contract management, procurement, commercial management, legal affairs, or a related field.
- Experience managing complex commercial and service contracts.
- Experience in contract negotiation and contract administration.
