Certified as a Top Employer, KONE invites you to join our team as a SABER Product Certification Specialist. In this role, you will be the focal point for all SABER‑related activities across KONE Saudi Arabia operations, including elevators, escalators, spare parts, components, and other imported materials.
Responsibilities- Manage all SABER product registration activities in Saudi Arabia, including developing, implementing, and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistent and compliant registration processes.
- Oversee the end‑to‑end SABER registration process, liaising with Sales and Services teams to identify materials needing registration before importation.
- Collect and organize required technical documentation for each material, provide guidance to internal teams on conformity requirements and certification pathways.
- Ensure documents are valid and renewed before expiration, and coordinate with certification bodies for timely approvals.
- Stay current with SASO technical regulations and ensure all KONE products and externally sourced components meet applicable requirements.
- Communicate with SASO to clarify technical regulation applications and certification requirements.
- Collaborate with the Global Trade Compliance team to assign correct HS codes and select appropriate technical verification schemes.
- Work with Codes & Standards to map required technical requirements for products, parts, and materials.
- Maintain an accurate, up‑to‑date list of all materials imported into Saudi Arabia by KONE.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure shipment certificates are issued on time and customs clearance is not delayed.
- Partner with Purchasing and technical teams to facilitate timely collection and validation of required technical documentation, ensuring business continuity and regulatory compliance.
- Manage certification costs and handle billing processes with certification bodies to ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Maintain the validity of SCoC documents during import and schedule renewal of technical documents.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
- Strong experience in the SABER registration process.
- Familiarity with the KSA market and regulatory environment.
- Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English and Arabic communication.
- Experience with SAB (Saber) regulations is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
