Senior Manager - Workers Welfare; DEL

As the Senior Worker Welfare Manager for the Entertainment Business Unit (EBU), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that employment practices and worker welfare standards consistently meet the highest industry and ethical benchmarks. Your responsibilities will include educating and motivating Contractors to enhance compliance levels and offering expert advice for continuous improvement. By fostering and strengthening collaborative relationships with Contractors, Supervision Consultants and working cooperatively with Qiddiya Investment Company project teams, you will significantly contribute to the successful delivery of Qiddiya City.

• Develop and implement EBU strategic and tactical plans and initiatives for worker accommodation and welfare.
• Develop and undertake a risk based EBU worker welfare and accommodation assurance plan.
• Conduct on & off-site worker welfare and accommodation inspections, including employment practices, through fieldwork and interviews with workers and employers to measure compliance against Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development regulations and Qiddiya’s Worker Welfare Requirements.
• Serve as the EBU technical expert on Qiddiya’s Worker Welfare and Workers Accommodation Requirements, providing advice on best practices and recommending improvements to Contractor management.
• Monitor and follow up on the implementation of recommended improvements to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Track, report and close out Worker Welfare and Employment Practices non‑compliance issues.
• Attend and present Worker Welfare requirements at high level Contractor mobilization meetings.
• Conduct training sessions for relevant contractor personnel to ensure adherence to the standards.
• Conduct Worker Welfare evaluations as part of the prequalification and tender process.
• Implement and lead EBU Worker Welfare Forums specifically, and support Qiddiya-wide WW Forum Programs.
• Establish and attend monthly Grievance Committee meetings.
• Assure Contractors manage, log and adequately close out workers’ grievance cases lodged via the Hotline.
• Participate in third‑party internal and external audit processes as required.
• Perform other responsibilities as required, including participating in corporate working groups related to this position.

• Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a relevant level 6 Health and Safety qualification, undergraduate or post graduate degree. Preferably a member of relevant Chartered Institute i.e. CIPD, IOSH.
• Extensive knowledge of Saudi Arabian legislation and associated codes/requirements.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in industry and field of worker welfare, labor rights, or similar fields of expertise, preferably in the GCC.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment and an understanding of cultural differences, particularly in the context of worker welfare.
• Must possess a valid KSA drivers’ license.

• Knowledge of the language(s) spoken by migrant workers is desirable (preferably Hindi, Urdu and/or Bengali). Arabic will be an advantage.
