Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) – The CCO holds a multifaceted role central to the organization’s success. The CCO strategically leads and coordinates commercial efforts across the conglomerate’s diverse portfolio of subsidiaries, developing tailored commercial strategies for each business unit.
Responsibilities- Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies aligned with the holding company’s overarching goals, including market opportunity identification, target audience definition, and objective setting for each unit. - Brand Management:
Oversee brand development initiatives, ensure adherence to brand guidelines, and enhance brand awareness and equity across all subsidiaries. - Market Analysis & Insights:
Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes, using insights to inform decision‑making and strategy. - Campaign Execution:
Lead planning, execution, and optimization of commercial campaigns across multiple channels – advertising, digital, social media, public relations, and experiential efforts. - Market Expansion:
Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion and diversification, evaluate new markets, assess entry strategies, and guide subsidiary teams in executing expansion initiatives. - Customer Experience (CX) Management:
Ensure a positive and consistent customer journey across all touchpoints, optimize interactions, and cultivate long‑term customer relationships. - Performance Measurement:
Establish and track KPIs and metrics, analyze campaign performance data to assess ROI, identify improvement areas, and optimize strategies. - Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating with subsidiary leaders, cross‑functional teams, vendors, agencies, and industry partners. - Innovation & Adaptation:
Foster a culture of innovation, exploring new technologies, trends, and approaches to stay ahead of competition and drive continuous improvement. - Budget Management:
Allocate and manage commercial budgets effectively to maximize impact and ROI across all subsidiaries. - Talent Development:
Recruit, train, and develop a high‑performing commercial team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture. - Risk Management:
Assess and mitigate commercial‑related risks, collaborating with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulations and protect reputation. - Compliance & Ethics:
Uphold ethical standards and comply with regulatory requirements in all commercial activities, ensuring transparency and adherence to legal and industry standards.
- Minimum Qualifications: University degree in Business Administration or a related field; fully qualified commercial, sales, and/or business development professional; MBA or equivalent post‑graduate degree from an internationally recognized business school; completion of relevant post‑graduate executive programs.
- Minimum Experience: 10 years in commercial, sales, and/or business development; 5 years of management experience in a business functional area; experience managing relationships with local and international investors and institutions.

Skills:
Industry knowledge – understanding of the investment holding company’s industry, market trends, competitors, and regulatory issues; strategic thinking – ability to provide strategic market advice to senior management and investors; excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
