Senior Process Consultant

Position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

To lead the development, governance, documentation, and continuous improvement of business processes, ensuring processes are clear, efficient, controlled, measurable, and aligned with departmental mandates and operational requirements. The role will also support KPI development and performance monitoring as a secondary responsibility to ensure processes are linked to measurable outcomes.

A candidate should have expertise and senior‑level experience in Process Discovery, AS-IS, To Be, Process Improvement, Find Gaps, use BPM and can define and track smart KPI's as well. Fluency in Arabic is expected as well.

• BPMDevelop, review, and improve business processes, procedures, workflows, SOPs, and operating models.
• Map current‑state and future‑state processes using tools such as BPMN, SIPOC, RACI, process flowcharts, and value stream mapping.
• Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, duplication, unclear ownership, control weaknesses, and improvement opportunities.
• Translate PM&D mandates and demand drivers into clear processes, roles, responsibilities, controls, and governance requirements.
• Facilitate process workshops with departments and stakeholders to validate processes, define pain points, and agree on improvement actions.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, governance records, templates, process libraries, and version control.
• Support process automation and digitisation by preparing business requirements, process logic, user journeys, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure processes include proper controls, escalation paths, accountability, compliance checkpoints, and evidence requirements.
• Coordinate with Quality, Governance, Risk, Internal Audit, Shared Services, and departments to ensure process alignment and compliance.

• Support the development and review of departmental and section‑level KPIs linked to key processes.
• Ensure KPIs are SMART, measurable, aligned with mandates, and supported by clear formulas, targets, evidence, data sources, and reporting frequency.
• Monitor process‑related KPI performance and identify gaps, delays, root causes, and corrective actions.
• Prepare performance insights, KPI updates, and brief management reports to support decision‑making.
• Support continuous improvement by using KPI results to recommend process enhancements.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, Operations Management, Project Management, Engineering Management, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA in Business, Operations, Strategy, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in business process management, process improvement, business analysis, operational excellence, governance, performance management, or PMO. At least 7–10 years of direct hands‑on experience in business process design, mapping, documentation, governance, and improvement.
• Strong experience developing process maps, SOPs, policies, procedures, RACI matrices, workflows, controls, and governance frameworks.
• Proven experience facilitating senior‑level workshops and working with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Experience linking processes to KPIs, controls, risks, evidence, and performance reports.
• Experience in KPI development and performance monitoring is preferred; however, primary expertise must be in business process management.
• Preferred certifications: CBPP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, BPMN 2.0, CBAP, Certified KPI Professional, Balanced Scorecard Professional, PMP or PMI‑PBA, ISO 9001 Internal Auditor.
