A leading organization in Saudi Arabia is looking for a qualified Compliance Specialist to join its Governance, Risk & Compliance function and support the implementation of governance frameworks, compliance practices, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This role is responsible for supporting compliance activities, monitoring adherence to governance policies and quality standards, conducting reviews and audits, and working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Support the implementation of governance policies, frameworks, and procedures across departments.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies, quality standards, governance practices, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Conduct periodic reviews to identify gaps in governance and compliance practices and recommend improvements.
- Support quality assurance and compliance audits to assess adherence to approved policies and procedures.
- Assist in updating and maintaining governance, compliance, and quality assurance documentation.
- Prepare governance, compliance, and quality performance reports for management review.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance reviews, audit findings, corrective actions, and related activities.
- Support the development and delivery of governance, compliance, and quality awareness materials.
- Provide guidance to internal teams on governance policies, compliance requirements, and quality standards.
- Follow up on corrective actions and ensure timely closure of identified gaps or observations.
- Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, and relevant stakeholders when required.
- Support special projects and tasks assigned by management within the required timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Governance, Business Administration, Economics, Public Policy, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in compliance, governance, quality management, internal audit, or a related field.
- Good understanding of governance frameworks, compliance practices, quality standards, and internal controls.
- Ability to conduct reviews, audits, and prepare clear reports.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and follow-up skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments and GRC teams.
- Experience working within a GRC function is preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and audit coordination is an advantage.
- Professional certification in compliance, governance, quality management, or internal audit is preferred.
