Operations Expert

Responsibilities

• Oversee O&M Contractors’ operational activities to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Monitor commercial and service delivery performance across metro operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of stations, depots, and operational facilities.
• Ensure delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality passenger services.
• Verify adherence to operational standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Support Operations Managers in daily operational activities and decision-making.
• Respond to incidents, accidents, and emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
• Provide 24/7 operational support during critical events and disruptions.
• Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to resolve operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor service reliability and implement improvements where required.
• Maintain documentation and reporting of inspections, incidents, and operational performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of technical and managerial experience in operations.
• Experience in metro, railway, or transportation systems.
• Strong understanding of O&M activities and service delivery standards.
• Experience in station and depot operations and inspections.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency response management.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced and high‑pressure operational environment.
• Willingness to provide 24/7 support when required.
