About the Role
The BCM Manager owns Circlys' Business Continuity Management program end to end, ensuring the platform's critical financial services stay resilient and recoverable in the face of disruption. Reporting into the risk and resilience function, this role designs and embeds the BCM framework in line with the SAMA BCM Framework and ISO 22301 — from Business Impact Analysis and risk assessment through to plan development, testing, and crisis response.
The BCM Manager acts as the organization's focal point during disruptions, working closely with IT, business units, and senior stakeholders to safeguard continuity of service for Circlys' millions of users, while maintaining the governance and audit evidence regulators expect.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the BCM program, policy, strategy, and supporting standards in line with the SAMA BCM Framework and ISO 22301.
- Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and risk assessments to identify critical processes, dependencies, and recovery priorities (RTO/RPO).
- Develop and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and coordinate Disaster Recovery (DR) and crisis management procedures with IT and business units.
- Plan, facilitate, and document BCM exercises, tabletop simulations, and tests; track and drive remediation of findings.
- Coordinate the Business Continuity Committee — prepare materials, track actions, and report program status and KPIs.
- Deliver BCM awareness and training, and act as focal point for response and recovery during disruptions.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain audit-ready BCM governance evidence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, operational resilience, or risk management — financial/banking sector preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of the SAMA BCM Framework, ISO 22301, and resilience best practices.
- BIA, risk assessment, and recovery strategy design; cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
- Excellent communication and reporting in Arabic and English.
Preferred Skills
- Professional Certifications (one or more preferred):
- CBCP / MBCP — DRI International
- CBCI / MBCI — Business Continuity Institute (BCI)
- Related risk/security certifications a plus (e.g., CRISC, CISM)
