Senior Video Editor & Videographer

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of creative direction for studio, lifestyle, and event‑based video content.

• Lead shoot planning, story boarding, and production schedules in coordination with the Editorial and Commercial teams.

• Film, edit, and deliver high‑volume, high‑impact, social‑friendly videos across all major platforms.

• Oversee junior content creators, reviewing edits, providing feedback, and ensuring brand consistency.

• Collaborate closely with the Editorial team to adapt written stories into engaging visual pieces.

• Support the Commercial team in producing branded content packages and campaign coverage.

• Manage studio operations, ensure technical readiness, and maintain production standards.

• Edit with precision—balancing quick turnaround with creative quality.

• Keep video formats current with the latest platform trends, transitions, and effects.

• Contribute innovative ideas for new show formats, recurring segments, and storytelling improvements.

• Support reporting and tracking of content performance to refine creative strategy continuously.

• 4–6 years of professional experience in video creation, editing, and storytelling, ideally within digital media, lifestyle, or social‑first brands.

• Deep proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Cap Cut, with strong knowledge of modern social editing techniques.

• Skilled in studio and on‑location filming, managing lighting, framing, and sound for short‑form video.

• Proven experience leading video projects from ideation to publishing.

• Understanding of brand tone, narrative structure, and editorial integration.

• Ability to coach and guide junior video team members in filming style, workflow, and editing techniques.

• Strong eye for visual composition, pacing, and creative rhythm matching audience trends.

• Comfortable collaborating cross‑functionally with Editorial, Commercial, and Production teams.

• Fluent in English;
  Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.

• Based in Riyadh or willing to relocate.

• Demonstrate leadership by example, embodying Augustus’s agility and creativity.
