We are currently seeking a Collections and Billings Specialist to join our Shared Services Finance team . In this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing collections and supporting billing operations. Your core focus will be credit control, ensuring timely and accurate payments from clients. The role also requires providing backup support for invoicing and billing, as well as handling ad-hoc finance tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Manage collection activities, ensuring timely and accurate payments from clients.
- Follow up with clients relating to vendor account setup, collection of corporate documents. overdue accounts and facilitate resolution leading to prompt payments.
- Work closely with internal and external teams to resolve payment disputes or discrepancies which may include visits to clients offices when required.
- Maintain up-to-date records of collection efforts and outstanding balances.
- Support billing processes, including invoice generation and verification of accuracy.
- Assist in maintaining organized and audit-ready financial records.
- Prepare and present reports on collections and billing status to management regularly.
- Perform other finance-related tasks and ad-hoc assignments as required.
- Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; a diploma or professional certification in accountancy with relevant experience may also be considered.
- Prior experience in collections, accounts receivable, or billing is preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Familiarity with billing systems or event finance processes is a plus.
