Project Cost Controller

WOLFFKRAN for Equipment is looking for a talented Project Cost Controller to join our team at the forefront of one of Saudi Arabia's giga projects.

• Monitors Project Expenditures against the approved budget and identifies and reports variances.
• Checks that time is properly accounted for in projects.
• Produces the Percentage of Completion sheets for all projects and discusses with Project Managers, reporting them to Accounting monthly to account for it.
• Analyzes cost variances and provides insights for corrective actions.
• Prepares with the Delivery Director, Finance Director, Supply Chain Manager, Commercial Manager reports and monthly forecasts (income, cost, and cash flow).
• Participates in project reviews and provides financial updates to project stakeholders.
• Records the minutes of the cost control and PMO meetings.
• Ensures adherence to cost control procedures for all projects.
• Reports to Managing Director and Finance Director on how Project Managers and Operations Department achieved KPIs.
• Monitors the suppliers’ costs in relation with the P.O. issued and received invoices.
• Helps in the monthly and quarterly closings and production of reports.

Approves project purchases, expenses and amendments within the business plan and flags major cost deviations requiring management intervention for final approval by the Company Board and MD.

• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
• 10+ years’ experience in project cost controlling, change control and reporting in construction projects.
• Understanding and experience in forecasting, budget movements, commitments, EFC and cash flows.
• Ability to work with multifunctional stakeholders such as schedulers/planners, finance, risk.
• Good working knowledge of Excel (essential); experience with SAP and Odoo is advantageous.
