Vice President Corporate Banking

Role Purpose

To contribute to performing the lending and financial advisory activities of the Corporation in accordance with the TAEF lending philosophy and guidelines with the ultimate objective to enable the business unit to achieve its objectives as per the annual budget and 5-year roll-over strategy in the most efficient and effective manner.

• Deal Execution & Advisory:
  To contribute in the most efficient and effective manner to the deal execution process.

Execution of arranging and advisory mandates as per best practices in the industry.

• Risk & Credit Management :
  To perform satisfactory risk analysis in respect to transactions referred to him/her as well as satisfactory monitoring of the transactions in his portfolio. Ensure the preparation of detailed, accurate, and relevant credit appraisals either for credit applications or for credit reviews.
• Market & Industry Analysis:
  To ensure proper follow-up and updates on the industries that he/she covers, with the aim to support marketing and origination efforts.

Contribute to the marketing plan, the budget, and the medium-term strategy for his/her industrial areas of coverage.

• Client Relationship & Portfolio Growth:
  Contribute to maintaining and growing the client portfolio in his/her industrial areas of coverage.

• Industry / Domain :
  Experience in the energy sector, with a focus on investments and corporate lending.
• Necessary Knowledge and
  
  Experience:
  
  A seasoned professional with solid experience in corporate finance, project finance, and commodity trade finance with a prime financial institution or with a prime hydrocarbon-related company.

• Education and Certification Minimum Requirements : A master’s in economics, in Business Administration, in Law or in Engineering from a well-graded university.
• Job Specific Technical Skills :
  · Solid familiarity with petroleum and power generation industries.
  · Strong analytical skills.
  · Strong interest to focus on long-term and complex assignments.
  · Mastering English & Arabic.
  · Strong intellect, energy, focus, team playing and open-minded attitude
