The Job in a Nutshell💡The Risk Manager develops and maintains a risk management framework for Foodics, ensuring risk exposures are mitigated and managed within the company’s risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
What Will You Do❓- Develop in coordination with other functions the company’s risk management strategy.
- Establish and develop the Risk Management framework, policies, risk appetite and associated risk limits.
- Develop risk‑management related procedures to support operational and financial objectives.
- Design and implement appropriate methodologies, tools, techniques and programs across the company to cover operational, credit, financial, reputational and cyber‑security risks.
- Conduct risk assessment and analysis across functions and new products.
- Perform risk assessment for the company’s strategic projects and document policies, procedures, agreements and system implementation initiatives.
- Develop continuous monitoring mechanisms, including early warning indicators and key risk indicators.
- Create a comprehensive risk register covering all internal and external risks.
- Implement a reporting mechanism for operational risk incidents and associated losses.
- Develop periodic risk‑management awareness initiatives and build a strong risk‑management culture.
- Ensure required risk transfer techniques, including insurance, are implemented and aligned with the risk strategy.
- Liaise with all functional heads to maintain and improve risk‑management capabilities.
- Produce risk reporting aligned with regulatory requirements and board oversight.
- Enhance and implement business continuity plans for business lines and critical functions, coordinating with technology and cyber‑security.
- Keep abreast of developments in risk‑management techniques, methodologies and tools.
- Manage ad‑hoc assignments for regulatory committees and senior management.
- At least 6 years of experience in Risk Management, preferably in the financial industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Actuarial Science or a related major.
- Knowledge of risk assessment, control and analysis.
- Familiarity with SAMA compliance standards and regulations.
- Solid project‑management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and G‑Suite.
