How You’ll Contribute
As a Senior Finance analyst, you will work across one or more core finance processes, delivering these activities for customers of PwC. You’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
Responsibilities- Accounts Payable:
- Complete ownership of accounting and reconciliations; ensures accuracy and timeliness.
- Manages monthly closing financial records and posting of month‑end information; ensures accuracy of financial statements.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting, as required.
- Assist accountants and controllers with A/P issues or problems.
- Review and process invoices, provide resolutions and release invoices for payment.
- Resolve all vendor queries and requests coming via e‑mail or tickets within the agreed SLA.
- Maintain exception logs for process‑related exceptions as they occur for knowledge retention.
- Independently perform transactional tasks that support compliance, planning, and execution of assigned processes.
- Enforce internal compliance policy and guidelines established by management on daily operational activities.
- Perform daily internal audit to ensure all invoices and queries are balanced as per guidelines.
- Maintain an exception tracker to ensure invoices and queries are balanced based on the tracker.
- Order to Cash:
- Identify and rectify unidentified cash and manage end‑to‑end cash office reconciliations.
- Identify exceptions in cash office reconciliations and follow up with store for proper closure.
- Report cash short/long and send for payroll recovery for amounts above threshold as per policy.
- Work closely with merchants for credit‑card settlement issues and charge‑backs.
- Follow up on customer/internal disputes, customer questions and work between departments to get resolution.
- Make collection calls and send invoices via e‑mail, fax or hard copies as requested.
- Solve queries related to cash applications and coordinate with customers.
- Operate day‑to‑day while maintaining SLA.
- Work as part of the Order to Cash processing team responsible for the entire O2C process from enquiry through invoicing.
- Determine financial outcome by collecting operational data/reports, conducting analysis, and reconciling transactions.
- Years of experience:
Minimum 3–6 years of professional experience, ideally with a diverse portfolio of people, processes and technology in a leading firm, preferably in the Middle East region. - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Management/Administration or equivalent; a master’s degree and/or certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA are advantageous. - Technical skills:
- Finance/accounting processes
- Regional accounting standards and practices
- Financial planning and analysis
- Operational delivery
- ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills with strong command of written and spoken English and Arabic.
- Strong understanding of P2P or O2C processes and related accounting knowledge;
Arabic experience is preferred. - Soft skills:

- Language skills:
Proficient in written and spoken English. Arabic is a plus. - Travel Requirements:
Flexibility to travel 100% of the time within KSA. This may require frequent overnight stays and working away from the base office on a regular basis.
