Sr.
Financial Accounting Manager to lead and oversee all financial accounting activities, including end-to-end operations (AP, AR, GL),
period-end closing (monthly, quarterly, and annual), and financial reporting
, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial records. The role ensures timely and high-quality financial close, full compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and effective coordination with internal and external auditors, while strengthening governance, internal controls, and the overall control framework in alignment with the organization’s financial transformation objectives.
- Lead and oversee all financial accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Own and drive the full financial closing cycle, ensuring timeliness and quality of outputs.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Strengthen and maintain a robust internal control environment across accounting processes.
- Oversee fixed assets accounting, capitalization policies, and depreciation accuracy.
- Monitor statutory obligations including Zakat, tax, and other regulatory filings.
- Act as the primary focal point for auditors, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.
- Review, challenge, and validate financial statements prior to executive submission.
- Support financial transformation initiatives, including transition from parent company dependencies.
- Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes, systems, and reporting quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Accounting preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in financial accounting, including leadership roles.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and regulatory frameworks.
- Professional certification preferred (e.g., CPA, SOCPA, or equivalent).
- Strong ERP systems experience and advanced Excel capabilities.
