Role Overview

The Senior Manager – Investment Analysis is responsible for leading financial analysis, investment underwriting, and strategic evaluation of commercial real estate opportunities. The role supports investment decision-making through detailed market research, financial modeling, feasibility analysis, and portfolio performance assessments.

This position plays a key role in identifying value-creating opportunities and ensuring investment strategies align with the organization’s financial and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities 1. Investment Analysis & Underwriting
  • Lead financial modeling and investment underwriting for commercial real estate acquisitions and developments
  • Conduct feasibility studies, cash flow projections, sensitivity analysis, and valuation assessments
  • Evaluate investment opportunities across office, retail, mixed-use, hospitality, and industrial asset classes
  • Analyze project returns including IRR, NPV, ROI, and payback metrics
  • Support acquisition, disposition, and development investment decisions
2. Market Research & Strategic Evaluation
  • Conduct market intelligence and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Assess macroeconomic, industry, and real estate market factors impacting investment performance
  • Evaluate location strategies, tenant demand, pricing trends, and market risks
  • Prepare investment memorandums and executive recommendations for senior management
  • Monitor and analyze portfolio performance against business plans and investment targets
  • Develop periodic investment performance reports and dashboards
  • Identify opportunities for value enhancement, optimization, and risk mitigation
  • Support asset management teams with strategic financial analysis
  • Participate in due diligence activities related to acquisitions, joint ventures, and development projects
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, technical, and external advisors during transaction processes
  • Review lease agreements, operating statements, project budgets, and financial assumptions
  • Support negotiation processes through financial and commercial analysis
5. Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination
  • Manage and mentor analysts and junior investment team members
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with development, finance, leasing, and asset management teams
  • Present investment findings and recommendations to senior leadership and investment committees
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
  • MBA, CFA, or relevant professional certification is preferred
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in real estate investment analysis, corporate finance, or investment management
  • Strong experience in commercial real estate underwriting and valuation
  • Proven expertise in financial modeling and investment evaluation
