How You’ll Contribute
As a Finance Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the day‑to‑day operations for their engagement teams within the Finance Service Tower, delivering Finance Managed Services to clients. This includes execution of processes, accountability for service level performance and continuous learning and improvement of the team.
They also play a key role in helping to input into and execute the Finance Managed Services strategic plans and programs.
- Manage the day‑to‑day delivery for Finance engagements including oversight of key customer deliverables/output.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions across end‑to‑end finance processes for their engagements (e.g., procure to pay, record to report, order to cash, and general ledger functions).
- Demonstrate sound understanding of financial reporting processes, risk and controls.
- Complete quality reviews and audits to ensure delivery is in line with established policies, procedures, compliance standards and customer expectations.
- Hold overall accountability for SLA/OLA compliance within the engagement team across Finance processes.
- Apply analytical and financial modelling skills with holistic financial thinking and ability to interpret financial data.
- Manage your own workload as well as that of the engagement teams, including reporting on progress and issue escalations.
- Monitor the performance of team members on their engagements on an ongoing basis and implement appropriate coaching.
- Mentor and motivate the engagement team, fostering a culture of excellence, high performance, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with peers and managers to drive ideas/solutions that improve client and PwC’s efficiency.
- Help implement and adapt to new or changing processes quickly.
- Build relationships with all team members within PwC, including engagement with client teams and customers of our clients.
- Implement corrective actions to address deviations and continuously improve service delivery based on feedback.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives based on feedback and observations.
- Support executing the Finance Managed Services plans and programs to improve team performance and achieve objectives.
- Qualified accountant with a minimum of 8+ years’ experience in a role relevant to accounting or financial reporting.
- 3+ years of people‑management experience leading a team in a complex process environment and managing workflow to deliver client outcomes.
- Strong, practical knowledge of accounting/reporting systems and Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
- Deep understanding of financial reporting processes, with knowledge and experience managing risk and controls.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and insurance or reinsurance accounting experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of accounting for financial instruments.
- Excellent MS Office skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business management/administration or equivalent.
- Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business management/administration or equivalent from an accredited university is preferred.
- Certifications in relevant fields (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) would be advantageous.
- Experience in coaching and coordinating a team to ensure deadlines are adhered to.
- Experience in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of finance operations.
- Experience of working collaboratively to drive ideas/solutions with diverse teams to improve efficiencies.
- Strong leadership ability, fluent communication in English, and ability to drive personal and collective accountability within a diverse team.
- Self‑motivated, independent, and capable of building strong relationships with internal and external parties.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrates commercial awareness in daily service provision within own area of responsibility.

- Proficient in written and spoken English. Arabic is a plus.
- Full flexibility to travel 100% of the time within KSA; may require working away from base office and frequent overnight stays.
