Senior Financial Accountant | Al-Futtaim Automotive - BYD | KSA | Riyadh Overview of the Role
We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to support financial planning, performance analysis, and commercial decision‑making across dealership operations in KSA. The role works closely with dealership leadership, FP&A, and Finance Business Partners to deliver accurate reporting, improve profitability, strengthen working‑capital management, and support strategic business decisions across the retail network.
Key Responsibilities- Lead annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial planning across dealership operations
- Analyze financial performance, identify variances and improvement opportunities
- Monitor sales performance, gross profit, margins, dealer incentives, and OEM rebate structures
- Track inventory levels, stock aging, turnover, and floor plan financing impact
- Support working‑capital optimisation and cost control across departments
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports and KPI dashboards
- Support month‑end closing, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement reviews
- Analyse Aftersales, Parts, Service, and F&I profitability and performance drivers
- Ensure compliance with OEM reporting requirements and internal finance policies
- Support audits, process improvements, and finance system accuracy across DMS and ERP platforms
- Conduct ad‑hoc analysis for new projects, pricing models, and strategic business cases
- Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and modelling skills
- Solid understanding of dealership P&L and retail KPIs
- Experience in F&I financial performance analysis
- Strong stakeholder management and business‑partnering skills
- Excellent reporting, presentation, and communication abilities
- High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting - Experience:
4–6 years in Financial Accounting, FP&A, or Commercial Finance - ERP knowledge: SAP, Oracle, or equivalent
- Experience with Power BI
- Preferred certifications: CMA (highly preferred), CPA, ACCA, CA or advanced Excel/Financial Modelling certification
