Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and client-focused Associate to join our CIB Coverage team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role entails managing relationships with our Corporate clients and originating new Corporate & Investment Banking opportunities across multiple products. Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years of full-time experience preferably in Corporate Banking, Structured Finance, Project Finance, or a related banking role, demonstrating strong credit understanding and financial analysis skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Proactively manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients, serving as a primary point of contact and understanding their evolving financial needs.
- Credit Analysis: Conduct in-depth credit analysis, including financial statement analysis, cash flow forecasting, industry research, and risk assessment for new and existing credit facilities. Prepare credit memos and present to credit committees.
- Loan Origination & Structuring: Identify and pursue new lending opportunities. Assist in structuring, negotiating, and documenting various debt facilities (e.g., revolvers, term loans, project finance where applicable).
- Product Sales & Cross-Selling: Partner with product specialists across Treasury Management, Trade Finance, Capital Markets, and Investment Banking to deliver integrated solutions and identify cross-selling opportunities. Partner with Relationship Managers to originate and close new business.
- Market & Industry Expertise: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of key industries, market trends, and competitive landscapes relevant to our corporate client base.
- Transaction Execution: Oversee the efficient execution of loan closings and ongoing monitoring of loan covenants and portfolio performance.
- Client Support: Ensure timely and high-quality service delivery for all client requests and inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in Corporate Banking, Structured Finance, Project Finance, or a related banking role.
- Demonstrated proficiency in credit analysis, financial modeling, and loan structuring.
- Solid understanding of corporate lending products and treasury services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fluency in English
