Responsibilities
  • Implement approved policies and procedures to ensure work is performed consistently and in a controlled manner.
  • Carry out daily operational tasks related to the role in compliance with approved standards and procedures.
  • Process accounting entries in the general ledger and accounting records according to approved procedures to ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
  • Ensure all financial transactions and reports are processed according to internal procedures and guidelines to fulfill all reporting and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare reports using statistical and financial information according to defined schedules to ensure required information is available for timely review.
  • Identify, investigate, and correct routine data entry errors and discrepancies to ensure the reliability of all financial data.
  • Provide advice and support to other business departments to ensure transparency and clarity regarding financial performance and requirements.
  • Maintain financial records and information in a manner that facilitates easy retrieval of reports and information.
  • Analyze general ledger accounts and accounting records to perform reconciliations according to established schedules to maintain continuous awareness of the company’s financial position and support timely issuance of regulatory reports.
  • Prepare non-routine financial statements and reports for senior management to support administrative decision-making.
  • Ensure all financial transactions and reports comply with external regulations and legal guidelines to fulfill all statutory reporting requirements.
Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience.
Skills
  • Knowledge of business operations – Level 2
  • Budget preparation and cost control knowledge – Level 2
  • Information gathering and analysis skills – Level 2
  • Knowledge of IT and computer applications – Level 2
  • Technical writing skills – Level 1
