Financial Manager
Key Accountabilities
Own and lead the enterprise‑wide budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes ensuring full alignment with corporate strategy and growth objectives.
Act as a strategic finance partner to executive leadership, providing forward‑looking insights on business performance, risks, and opportunities.
Oversee analysis of financial results, KPIs, sales trends, margins, and inventory performance to drive profitability and sustainable growth across retail operations.
Lead the preparation and presentation of executive‑level financial reports, dashboards, and recommendations to support decision‑making at Board and C‑suite level.
Drive financial evaluation and governance of strategic initiatives, including new store openings, market expansion, and major capital investments through advanced financial modeling.
Provide strategic oversight of operating expenses, identifying cost optimization opportunities while supporting business scalability.
Lead, develop, and inspire a high‑performing FP&A organization, setting clear objectives, building talent pipelines, and promoting a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Champion continuous improvement of FP&A frameworks, processes, systems, and tools to enhance forecasting accuracy, efficiency, and business insight.
Ensure strong financial controls, compliance with internal policies, and proactive risk management within the retail environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Master’s degree and/or professional certification (CFA, CPA, CIMA) strongly preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive FP&A experience with significant exposure to large‑scale retail or multi‑site operations
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior executives and influencing strategic decisions at an enterprise level
- Deep expertise in retail financial metrics, performance management, and value drivers
- Advanced capability in financial modeling, forecasting, and planning systems (Excel, ERP, and performance management tools)
- Strong executive communication and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear strategic insights
- Proven track record in building, leading, and scaling high‑performing FP&A teams
- Strategic mindset combined with strong analytical rigor and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑growth retail environment
