Responsibilities

Uniqus seeks an experienced and driven Assistant Manager with a financial services background to join our ARC team. The role involves delivering high‑impact advisory services to clients in the banking, insurance, asset management, and fintech sectors, focusing on complex IFRS matters, regulatory reporting, and transaction accounting. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work on high‑profile FS clients and complex financial reporting engagements in a fast‑paced and dynamic market.

  • Support and manage ARC projects for FS clients, including IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 17 implementations and advisory
  • Conduct technical accounting research and prepare client deliverables, including technical memos and position papers
  • Preparation and review of financial statements under IFRS
  • Finance transformation and process optimization
  • Work closely with FS clients to assess their accounting and financial reporting processes and provide tailored solutions
  • Supervise and coach junior team members to ensure high‑quality deliverables
  • Support Managers and Partners in project planning, execution, and client management
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and assist in business development efforts, proposals, and client presentations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional qualification CA, ACCA, or CPA required
  • 4–7 years of experience in accounting advisory with a minimum of 2–3 years working with FS clients (banks, insurers, investment firms)
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, especially standards relevant to financial instruments and insurance contracts
  • Experience in the wider GCC financial services market is a strong advantage
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of data analytics tools is a plus
  • Fluent in English;
    Arabic is an advantage
