Salary Budget: 4,000 SR

A diversified business group is seeking an experienced and highly capable General Manager – Finance to lead and develop the organization’s financial function across multiple business sectors.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing the company’s financial strategy, establishing strong financial governance, overseeing budgeting and financial planning, managing cash flow, enhancing financial reporting, and leading ERP financial system implementation and optimization. This role requires a hands‑on leader with strong strategic and operational financial expertise who can build and strengthen financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities to support business growth and executive decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the Group Financial Strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives and expansion plans.
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and long‑term financial modeling to support strategic business decisions.
  • Oversee the preparation and management of the annual corporate and departmental budgets, including budget performance tracking (Budget vs. Actual).
  • Establish and improve financial planning and forecasting processes across business units.
  • Manage and optimize cash flow, liquidity planning, and working capital to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Design, implement, and enhance financial policies, internal controls, and governance frameworks.
  • Oversee the preparation of management reports, financial dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting to support decision‑making.
  • Lead financial analysis related to profitability, cost optimization, performance measurement, and operational efficiency across different business sectors.
  • Lead the selection, implementation, optimization, or enhancement of ERP systems, ensuring proper financial integration with operational functions.
  • Improve financial workflows, documentation cycles, and internal financial controls.
  • Manage and develop the finance and accounting team to build a high‑performing finance function.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, tax/zakat authorities, and other regulatory stakeholders.
  • Conduct financial feasibility studies, investment analysis, and business case evaluations for new projects and ventures.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration,
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive finance experience, including leadership experience within diversified business groups or multi‑sector organizations.
  • Proven experience in developing financial strategies and building finance functions.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, Zoho, or similar platforms).
  • Strong experience in corporate and departmental budgeting, financial planning, and performance management.
  • Advanced expertise in cash flow management, financial forecasting, financial modeling, and financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of financial governance, internal controls, and management reporting frameworks.
  • Experience in diversified business groups or multi‑business operations is highly preferred.
