We are looking for an energetic professional who will serve as an Investment Strategist in the SSIM Investment Solutions Group (ISG) based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Investment Strategist will support our multi‑asset class business in the Kingdom and region (MENA).

Primary responsibilities include:

• Formulating clients’ overall asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk framework, governance structure, and client‑specific Investment Policy Statements as part of broad multi‑asset mandates.
• Collaborating with the ISG team—especially the Manager Research team and the portfolio management team—to provide manager recommendations, oversight, and trading support for client portfolios.
• Partnering with dedicated client relationship managers and regularly engaging with client investment committees, boards, and staff.
• Contributing to investment portfolio and performance reviews.

Key skills and qualities that help you succeed in this role include:

• Familiarity with the needs of diverse asset owners, including sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, pensions, and financial institutions in the region.
• Knowledge of global capital markets, multi‑class asset solutions, and supporting asset allocation modeling.
• Experience setting investment strategies to meet risk‑return objectives, liabilities or spending requirements, and client‑specific return objectives in an advisory, consultative capacity.
• Local insights on asset‑owner governance and regulatory considerations, notably Shariah compliance.
• Ability to build positive relationships with key internal stakeholders and to self‑motivate with intellectual curiosity, high energy, and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation—along with the ability to influence investment committees and boards.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the capacity to meet deadlines.
• Commitment to risk excellence and maintaining the highest fiduciary standards, ensuring full compliance with all internal and external requirements.

• 7–10 years of industry experience.
• CFA or CAIA preferred.
• Track record delivering holistic investment advice and solutions in a multi‑asset framework with institutional asset managers, OCIO investment consultancies, wealth advisors, or asset owners.
• Demonstrated intellectual integrity, personal and professional honesty, and a proven ability to work collaboratively.

This role will contribute to State Street Investment Management’s strategic priority of expanding in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is a key part of the SSGA Investment Solutions Group. The Investment Strategist will support and drive new business activity as a subject‑matter expert in collaboration with our business‑development team.
