Managing Director – Corporate Finance & Advisory

We are seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead our Corporate Finance & Advisory business in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, executing, and leading strategic advisory mandates across Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Markets, Restructuring, Privatizations, and Strategic Financing transactions throughout Saudi Arabia and the broader GCC region.
This individual will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, expanding client relationships, and positioning the firm as a leading advisor to corporates, sovereign entities, family offices, and financial sponsors.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Origination
Lead the origination and execution of Corporate Finance and Advisory mandates across Saudi Arabia.
Develop and maintain senior relationships with CEOs, CFOs, Board Members, Family Offices, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Government Entities, and Institutional Investors.
Identify and originate opportunities across:
- Mergers & Acquisitions (Buy-Side and Sell-Side)
- Capital Raising (Equity and Debt)
- IPO Advisory
- Strategic Partnerships and Joint Ventures
- Privatizations
- Financial Restructuring and Capital Structure Advisory
Build and manage a sustainable transaction pipeline to support revenue growth objectives.
Transaction Execution
Provide senior oversight on all live transactions from mandate through completion.
Lead transaction structuring, valuation discussions, negotiations, and client presentations.
Ensure the highest standards of execution across all advisory engagements.
Work closely with legal, regulatory, accounting, and due diligence advisors throughout transaction life cycles.
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Directors, Vice Presidents, Associates, and Analysts.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on excellence, collaboration, and client service.
Participate in hiring and talent development initiatives to support the continued growth of the platform.
Strategic Advisory
Advise clients on strategic alternatives, capital allocation decisions, and corporate development initiatives.
Deliver market-leading insights on sector trends, valuation environments, financing markets, and investor sentiment.
Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client forums.
Regulatory & Governance
Ensure compliance with all relevant CMA regulations and internal governance standards.
Maintain best practices across risk management, client suitability, and transaction documentation.
Candidate RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
MBA, CFA, ACA, CA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
15+ years of Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, M&A Advisory, or Capital Markets experience.
Demonstrated track record of originating and executing transactions across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
Strong network across Saudi corporates, government entities, sovereign wealth funds, family groups, and financial institutions.
Proven ability to generate advisory revenues and lead client relationships at the C‑Suite level.
Strong understanding of CMA regulations, Tadawul listing requirements, and regional capital markets.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English;
Arabic language skills are highly advantageous.
