The RoleCredit at Aajil sits at the core of the business. Every financing decision directly impacts risk, capital deployment, and growth. This role exists to ensure that decisions are informed, consistent, and grounded in sound financial analysis.
As a Credit Specialist, you will assess client creditworthiness, support financing decisions, and maintain the integrity of the credit process. You will work across internal teams, not as an observer, but as the person responsible for translating financial data into clear, actionable insights.
This is an early‑career role with high responsibility. The expectation is accuracy, structured thinking, and consistent execution.
What You Will Own Credit Assessment & AnalysisReview and interpret financial statements and supporting documents to assess client creditworthiness. Apply credit ratios and basic risk metrics to form structured evaluations.
Decision SupportPrepare clear, concise credit assessments and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders to support financing decisions.
Process ExecutionOperate within established credit workflows and systems, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timely processing of cases.
Cross-Functional CoordinationWork closely with internal teams to move cases through the credit lifecycle efficiently, maintaining alignment and clarity.
Who You Are- You are detail-oriented and do not overlook inconsistencies in financial data
- You think in a structured way and can translate numbers into clear conclusions
- You are comfortable working within defined processes while maintaining ownership of your output
- You communicate clearly across different stakeholders
- You are reliable, organized, and able to manage your workload independently
- 1–3 years of experience in credit, finance, accounting, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Strong ability to read and interpret financial statements
- Familiarity with credit analysis and basic risk metrics (e.g., liquidity ratios, leverage ratios)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently within structured workflows
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Experience in lending, fintech, or financial services
- Exposure to SME credit assessment
- Familiarity with credit systems or workflow tools
- Understanding of industry-specific risks (construction, manufacturing)
