How You’ll Contribute

• Assisting proactively in the management of a portfolio of clients, being responsible for day‑to‑day client liaison and technical issue management.
• Driving business development activities to identify and research new or existing client opportunities while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Developing strategies to solve complex technical challenges and contributing to the technical growth of yourself and your team.
• Assisting in managing and delivering large projects, ensuring key deadlines are met.
• Designing the audit strategy and managing audit execution in alignment with engagement leader guidance; advising clients on financial reporting and regulatory developments.
• Managing client relations with senior management, including delivering presentations to the board of directors and audit committees.
• Ensuring compliance with risk, quality and independence matters.
• Keeping up to date with local and national business and economic issues.
• Coaching, mentoring and developing team members reporting to you while caring for their well‑being.
• Encouraging involvement in digital initiatives and audit transformation technologies, as well as alternative delivery models, to ensure robust audit practice.
• Participating in the recruitment process, interviewing and selecting candidates according to PwC hiring standards.

• A degree in accounting, finance or a related academic major.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of professional experience in external financial audit at a Big‑4 firm.
• Completed a recognised professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, ACA or CPA.
• Experience auditing banking clients is a must.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to thrive in a team environment.
• Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (oral and written) is a plus.
• Applying International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) to the external audit of financial services, with deep IFRS knowledge (e.g., IFRS9, IFRS
  17) and financial services regulations.
• Strong project management skills and experience managing an audit from planning to completion.
• Confidence in challenging yourself and others to complete high‑quality testing and documentation.
• Ability to establish and nurture positive relationships across all levels, both internally and externally.
• Driving innovative thinking and supporting others through change and uncertainty to overcome hurdles.
• Experience encouraging a collaborative team environment and resolving team issues quickly.
• Taking pride in your work and in the audit profession, showing resilience and a commitment to self‑development in the digital world.
• Promoting diversity and encouraging others to value differences in teams.
• Knowledge of audit technologies and experience using data analytics tools.
