19 crisis, and Its role was to find fast and adaptive solutions to react to this crisis in the kingdom.
To oversee and manage the company’s operational accounting functions, including payment processing, account reconciliations, tax compliance, and financial reporting. The Chief Accountant ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supports internal controls, and guarantees adherence to regulatory standards. The role plays a key part in supporting organizational efficiency and financial transparency.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions.
- Ensure timely processing of payments and proper reconciliation of all accounts.
- Ensure timely invoice for customers.
- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Monitor tax obligations and ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies during internal and external audits.
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring high performance and continuous professional development.
- Implement process improvements and internal controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Utilize ERP systems effectively for data integrity, reporting, and automation.
- Strong exposure to project-based logistics operations (warehousing, transportation, distribution, supply chain solutions).
- Background in logistics and transportation companies that operate as third-party logistics providers within the Saudi Logistic Market.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent (professional certifications are a plus).
8 –12 years of relevant accounting experience within logistics / transportation / 3PL companies.
Skills:- Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliation.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems SAP.
- Solid understanding of tax regulations and compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic environment.
