Role PurposeThe Finance Manager is responsible for leading the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong cost control, and effective budgeting to support operational efficiency and profitability of facilities services.
Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Budgeting- Prepare annual budgets for FM contracts and corporate functions.
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts.
- Monitor actual vs budget performance and highlight variances.
- Control OPEX and CAPEX across FM operations, including hard and soft services.
- Review and validate service provider invoices and subcontractor costs.
- Support pricing and costing of FM bids and tenders.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial dashboards.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management, including CFO / COO.
- Track KPIs such as profit margin per contract and cost per facility.
- Monitor revenue recognition from FM contracts.
- Ensure compliance with contract financial terms, including SLAs, penalties, and variations.
- Support contract commercial reviews and renegotiations.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
- Monitor receivables and ensure timely client collections.
- Optimise working capital across projects and contracts.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Maintain strong internal controls and financial policies.
- Support FM operations teams with financial insights.
- Provide profitability analysis per site or contract.
- Assist senior management in strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Strong experience in Facilities Management, IFM, contracting, or a similar project-based services industry.
- Excellent knowledge of OPEX, CAPEX, project costing, contract finance, and budget control.
- Strong Excel and ERP skills, including SAP, Oracle, Maximo, or similar systems.
- Strong analytical thinking and commercial awareness.
- Leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to support operational teams in a fast‑paced IFM environment.
