Cost Senior Specialist

We are seeking a Cost Senior Specialist to oversee the financial health of projects by monitoring resource allocation against approved budgets. You will perform technical cost analysis
, identify variances
, and provide actionable reporting to ensure projects remain profitable and within financial constraints, using Earned Value Management (EVM) and ERP-driven cost data.

• Budget Monitoring: Track project resources across labor, materials, and equipment to ensure alignment with the approved budget.
• Technical Cost Analysis: Analyze cost components in relation to technical progress, supporting Value Engineering and Cost Impact evaluations.
• Performance Reporting (Weekly/Monthly): Prepare periodic performance reports using Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology.
• Variance Analysis: Identify budget deviations, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions and recovery plans.
• ERP & Data Support: Collaborate with finance and project teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting outputs from ERP systems.

• Bachelor's degree (required).
• Professional certifications such as CCP (Certified Cost Professional) or PMP are highly preferred
  .

• 5–7 years of experience in project cost control (preferably Construction, Contracting, or Manufacturing
  ).
• Proven experience working with ERP systems
  , such as Dynamics, SAP, or Oracle
  .

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas, and data visualization).
• Strong understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts and application.
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear management reporting.
• Introduction / basic experience with Microsoft Power BI (preferred).
