The Senior Director of Finance will serve as a critical strategic partner to the executive leadership team, leveraging advanced financial acumen and leadership capabilities to drive financial performance and operational excellence across the organization. The incumbent will be responsible for establishing and executing financial strategies that align with the company's vision and objectives. This role demands a profound understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis, coupled with a proven track record of enhancing financial controls and operational efficiencies.

The Senior Director will oversee the finance team, mentoring professionals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate financial data into actionable insights is paramount, as is the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

Job Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven experience in leading financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Expertise in financial modeling and scenario analysis, demonstrating the ability to predict economic trends and their impacts on the organization
  • Extensive knowledge of regulatory compliance and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) applicable to the organization
  • Demonstrated capability in risk management and internal controls, with a strong track record of identifying and mitigating financial risks
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing finance teams
  • Strong strategic thinking with a results-oriented mindset to drive business growth and operational efficiencies
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to diverse audiences, including Board members and external stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software systems and tools, including ERP and BI systems
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize large sets of data into meaningful insights
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Commitment to integrating ethical standards and corporate sustainability into financial practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (CMA, CPA) is preferred
Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the financial strategy to support the organization's long-term goals and objectives
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function, ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Analyze and interpret financial metrics to provide insights that guide strategic decision-making
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency and financial performance
  • Implement and improve financial systems and processes to enhance data accuracy and reporting capabilities
  • Collaborate with the executive team to assess business performance and identify opportunities for operational improvement
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization strategies
  • Drive initiatives to enhance financial controls and mitigate potential risks
  • Conduct thorough investment analysis to support capital allocation decisions
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the finance team through coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with external auditors, regulators, and financial partners to ensure organizational compliance and accountability
  • Represent the finance function on cross-functional project teams, providing financial insight and guidance to support business initiatives
  • Lead financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic investments, ensuring thorough risk assessment and valuation accuracy
