Tax Supervisor

Reef Group is seeking a highly qualified Tax & Zakat Supervisor with solid experience in Saudi tax and zakat regulations, as well as a strong understanding of tax legislation across the GCC region. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing tax and zakat operations, ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations while supporting the organization’s financial governance and business objectives.

• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and hands‑on experience in both direct and indirect taxation
  , including:
• Direct Taxes: Zakat, Corporate Income Tax, Corporate Tax, Tax Provisions, Tax Planning, and Tax Compliance.
• Indirect Taxes: Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax (WHT), Real Estate Transaction Tax (RETT), tax recoveries, and tax reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi and GCC tax regulations across all business operations and transactions.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the Group, providing recommendations to ensure continued compliance and effective tax risk management.
• Manage Transfer Pricing matters, including the preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing policies, documentation, and compliance with local regulations and international guidelines.
• Prepare periodic tax and zakat reports for management, highlighting tax positions, key risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Review invoices, accounting entries, and commercial transactions to ensure accurate tax treatment in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Develop and enhance tax-related policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
• Supervise and support the Tax & Zakat team by assigning responsibilities, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing technical guidance and coaching.
• Participate in finance transformation initiatives and ERP implementation projects to ensure compliance with tax requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Zakat & Tax, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Tax and Zakat, preferably within Saudi Arabia.
• Hands‑on experience in:
• Value Added Tax (VAT)
• Withholding Tax (WHT)
• Corporate Income Tax (preferred)
• Strong understanding of Saudi tax regulations and working knowledge of GCC tax frameworks.
• Practical experience with Transfer Pricing policies and compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is highly preferred.
