The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Investment Associate to support Falak’s investment activities across startup assessment, due diligence, investment execution, and portfolio monitoring.

This role is suited for someone who thinks like an investor, applies structured judgment, challenges assumptions, and takes ownership throughout the investment process.

You’ll work closely with the Investment Manager and leadership team to evaluate opportunities, prepare investment recommendations, and support portfolio growth.

Key Responsibilities

Assess early‑stage startups against Falak’s investment thesis, evaluating markets, business models, traction, founders, and risks.

Build financial models and analyze unit economics, burn rate, runway, and funding requirements.

Lead commercial, financial, and market due diligence while identifying key risks and validating assumptions.

Prepare clear, investment committee‑ready memos with balanced investment recommendations.

Engage with founders, investors, and ecosystem partners professionally and confidently.

Support portfolio monitoring by tracking company performance, milestones, and emerging risks.

What We’re Looking For

Strong pre‑seed, seed, and pre‑series A investment judgment and analytical thinking.

Experience in financial modeling and due diligence.

Ability to communicate complex investment decisions clearly.

Structured approach to risk assessment and decision‑making.

Comfortable working with early‑stage startups and incomplete information.

Strong ownership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience

3–5+ years in early‑stage startup investing, preferably angel networks, investment‑backed accelerators, family offices or micro VCs.

Hands‑on experience in financial modeling and investment due diligence.

Experience with financial reporting and portfolio management is a plus.
