Qiddiya Investment Company is a Saudi holding and development company leading major investments across entertainment, sports, and culture. The company is helping shape landmark destination projects, including Qiddiya City, through large-scale development and long-term operational planning.
As Director - Finance and Control, you will play a key role in strengthening the financial foundations of City Operations. This role is focused on turning operational priorities into clear financial plans, controls, reporting, and insights, while partnering closely with finance and business stakeholders to support effective decision-making and disciplined execution.
Responsibilities- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for City Operations in coordination with QIC Finance.
- Develop service charge and cost recovery mechanisms, including inputs, calculations, reporting, and cross-functional coordination.
- Develop and monitor financial KPIs, management information reporting, and performance insights to support leadership decision-making.
- Manage budget control and cost tracking across City Operations functions, highlighting risks, variances, and cost optimization opportunities.
- Lead the invoicing process in collaboration with City Operations teams and QIC central functions.
- Maintain asset registers and general ledger integrity, including reconciliations, accruals, and period-close support with QIC Finance.
- Coordinate with Finance & Controls, City Operations functions, QIC Finance, and relevant stakeholders to align and implement financial processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
- 12+ years of relevant experience in finance, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or operational finance.
- Experience with service charge, cost recovery, or shared services financial models.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, cost control, variance analysis, and financial performance management.
- Deep knowledge of invoicing, general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, and period-close processes.
- Experience translating operational needs into financial plans, reports, and actionable insights, and working effectively with City Operations leaders, central finance teams, senior leadership, and business unit counterparts.
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field is a plus.
