DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA), DS MEA, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in tracking organizational financial performance, contributing to financial communication strategies, forecasting, reporting, and analysis of complex financial data that will help guide decisions and support strategy setting. The role also coordinates Saudi Arabia-specific processes and projects from a financial standpoint.

Business Partnering- Partner with the commercial team to drive profitable growth and support key business decision‑making.
- Build and maintain relationships with cross‑functional teams and key stakeholders.
- Provide financial insight and analysis to business partners, including evaluating business cases for tender, pricing, and investments.
- Challenge business assumptions, develop alternative scenarios, and educate partners on financial issues, concepts, and ownership.
- Provide full support for Saudi‑specific processes and projects in close collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Actively participate locally in business planning, budget updates, and forecast accuracy improvement for P&L, BS, and CF.
- Build and maintain financial models to inform the planning process.
- Support financial closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Review performance against targets, identify trends, and highlight risks and opportunities for early intervention.
- Ensure adherence to SOX, WWP, internal policies, and procedures.
- Support compliance activities, including internal and external audits.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (required). - Education:
MBA or professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) (preferred). - Experience:
4+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or operational finance roles. - Skills:
Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling. - Skills:
Demonstrated ability to partner with non‑finance stakeholders and influence decision‑making. - Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial systems and reporting tools. - Skills:
Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for executive‑facing dashboards and reports. - Preferred:
Experience with in medical devices, healthcare, or other regulated industries. - Preferred:
Experience working with senior leadership and preparing executive‑level materials. - Preferred:
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with attention to detail. - Language:
English (required);
Arabic (preferred). - Travel:
Up to ~10% domestic or regional travel. - Certification: CPA or equivalent (preferred).
