The project

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed‑use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure. Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high‑calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Ensure compliance with governance policies, plans, procedures, and approval frameworks.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership behaviors and uphold organizational values at all times.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of complex financial models to assess project feasibility across multiple business units and asset classes, including real estate, hospitality, leisure, retail, and infrastructure.
  • Ensure financial models follow best-practice standards, incorporating sensitivity analysis, scenario planning, and dynamic assumptions.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, valuation methodologies, and sector benchmarks to enhance financial modeling capabilities.
  • Identify and evaluate risks and opportunities, presenting clear financial implications and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Partner with business units to develop, refine, and validate financial assumptions supporting key initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency, comparability, and standardization of financial analyses across asset classes for portfolio‑level reporting.
  • Maintain governance of financial feasibility work streams, ensuring adherence to internal policies, controls, and approval processes.
  • Implement version control, audit trails, and standardized templates to improve transparency, accuracy, and replicability.
  • Collaborate with Strategy, Development, and Finance teams to align financial feasibility outputs with organizational objectives.
  • Communicate complex financial and modeling outcomes effectively to both financial and non‑financial stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial feasibility analysis through automation and advanced analytics tools.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, strengthening internal financial modeling capabilities.
You’ll need to have:
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in financial modeling, feasibility analysis, and investment appraisal, ideally within large‑scale developments, mixed‑use real estate, infrastructure, or diversified asset portfolios.
  • Previous KSA/Middle East experience preferred.
  • Proven expertise in building and maintaining complex, dynamic, multi‑scenario financial models using Microsoft Excel to advanced standards (including VBA/macros, if applicable).
  • Strong understanding of discounted cash flow (DCF), IRR, NPV, sensitivity analysis, scenario modeling, and valuation methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project finance principles, capital structuring, and funding models.
  • Exposure to multi‑asset class environments (e.g., residential, hospitality, retail, entertainment, sports, infrastructure).
  • Understanding of land use planning, phasing strategies, and large master‑planned developments.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally with Strategy, Development, Design, and Finance teams to align financial feasibility outputs with strategic goals.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to set clear goals, motivate teams and deliver results.
