EY-Parthenon is looking for a Turnaround and Restructuring Strategy Senior Manager to join our MENA team.

• Lead engagements evaluating capital options, maximizing transaction value, and achieving strategic objectives through financial restructurings, enhanced cash management, value creation, or sale of distressed assets.
• Lead project teams, collaborate across EY, and guide complex turnarounds and financial restructurings.
• Plan and review deliverables, identify opportunities for additional services, and foster a positive learning culture by coaching junior team members.
• Contribute to team initiatives such as account management and recruitment.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong business and commercial acumen, thriving in fast‑paced environments while consistently driving value for clients. They possess excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities, synthesizing complex findings and connecting them to client‑specific challenges. Advanced numerical skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and detailed financial analysis, are essential. Excellent communication skills will also be a key attribute for success;

you will assist in preparing reports and presentations for banks, investors, management teams, and boards of directors. You will develop and maintain productive working relationships with clients and banks.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Relevant work experience in restructuring and turnarounds
• Strong finance and accounting capabilities with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Excellent problem‑solving, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to travel in the region as required to meet client requirements

• Chartered Accountant, CFA or similar professional qualification
• Knowledge of Islamic finance
• Client‑facing experience from a professional services, consulting, or banking background
• Financial modeling experience
• Fluency in Arabic, both written and spoken, would be beneficial
