Job Description ## About the RoleBEC Arabia is seeking a highly skilled
** GL-Team Leader
** to join our Finance Department in Riyadh. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial records, which underpin the success of our large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. As a GL-Team Leader, you will oversee the general ledger team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in alignment with Saudi regulatory requirements and international accounting  this position, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, procurement, and senior leadership, to provide financial insights that drive strategic decision-making.

You will also play a key role in streamlining processes, implementing best practices, and supporting the financial aspects of BEC Arabia’s participation in Saudi Vision 2030 mega-projects. Key Responsibilities
* ** Lead
* * the general ledger team in managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and Saudi regulatory standards.
* ** Oversee
* * the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring timely submission to senior management.
* ** Develop
* * and implement internal controls to safeguard financial data and ensure compliance with Saudi GOSI and tax regulations.
* ** Coordinate
* * with external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.
* ** Monitor
* * and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
* ** Ensure
* * compliance with Saudization (Nitaqat) requirements and other local labor laws impacting financial reporting.
* ** Collaborate
* * with project teams to track and report on project-specific financial performance, including cost allocations and revenue recognition.
* ** Implement
* * process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial reporting and general ledger management.
* ** Train
* * and mentor junior accountants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
* ** Support
* * the Finance Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning activities.##

Required Qualifications
* ** Bachelor’s degree
** in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum of
** 8 years of experience
** in accounting or finance, with at least
** 3 years in a leadership role**.
* Professional certification such as
** CPA**,
** CMA**, or equivalent.
* Proficiency in
** ERP systems** (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced
** Microsoft Excel
** skills.
* Strong knowledge of
** IFRS
* * and Saudi-specific financial regulations, including GOSI and Zakat.
* Demonstrated experience in
** financial reporting**,
** account reconciliation**, and
** audit coordination**.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team.##

Preferred Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (MBA).
* Experience in the
** construction or engineering industry**, particularly with project-based accounting.
* Familiarity with
** Saudi Vision 2030
** projects and their financial implications.
* Knowledge of

** in the GCC region.
* Experience with
