VP Finance

We're Hiring | VP of Finance – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are hiring for a high-growth technology and AI company on the path to IPO, and we are looking for an exceptional VP of Finance to join our client's leadership team in Riyadh.

This is not a role for someone who wants to manage from a distance. Our CEO is looking for a strategic operator, someone who can sit in the boardroom and roll up their sleeves in equal measure. If you've built finance functions, led companies through IPOs, and thrive in fast-moving tech environments, we want to hear from you.

As VP of Finance, you will serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO, with 70–80% of your remit focused on long‑term financial strategy and capital markets positioning. You will lead a Finance Director and a lean finance team, and own the end‑to‑end financial narrative as our client heads toward a landmark IPO on the Saudi Exchange.

You will report directly to the CEO.

• Drive IPO readiness — from financial structuring and regulatory compliance to shareholder meetings and exchange listing requirements
• Lead the financial strategy of the business across planning, forecasting, capital allocation, and investor relations
• Manage and mentor a Finance Director and supporting finance team
• Partner with the CEO on board‑level presentations, investor communications, and high‑stakes decisions
• Ensure robust financial controls, reporting frameworks, and governance structures fit for a listed entity
• Bring deep understanding of the tech and AI industry to shape financial models and growth strategy

• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with a strong track record in the technology, AI, or tech consulting sectors
• Hands‑on IPO experience is non‑negotiable — you must have taken a company through a listing process
• Saudi Arabia market experience is essential; familiarity with Tadawul (listed or pre‑IPO environments) is a strong advantage
• Arabic speaker preferred;
  Saudi national or Arabic‑speaking candidates strongly preferred
• Educated at an elite institution for example:
  Cambridge, Harvard, Oxford, or equivalent
• Professionally certified: ACCA, CPA, or CMA
• Based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh

You are a charismatic, polished, and commercially sharp finance leader. You present with confidence at the CEO and board level, inspire credibility with investors, and are as comfortable in a strategy session as you are deep in a financial model. You lead by example and bring energy and ambition that matches ours.
