Support and execute Treasury Operations activities by monitoring daily cash positions, managing payment processing workflows, performing timely bank reconciliations, maintaining accurate treasury records, and supporting cash flow forecasting and liquidity management activities. Ensure compliance with treasury policies, procedures, banking requirements, and internal control frameworks.
The role contributes to effective cash management, accurate treasury reporting, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement of treasury processes through close coordination with the Treasury Operations Manager, internal stakeholders, and banking partners.
Key Responsibilities:Treasury Operations
- Cash & Liquidity Management
Monitor and optimize daily cash positions and liquidity requirements to support effective working capital management, ensuring funds are consistently available to meet operational needs.
- Payments & Disbursements
Execute and oversee cash disbursement activities and cash concentration processes, ensuring accurate fund utilization, strict adherence to approved payment protocols, and full compliance with treasury controls.
Perform bank account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items to maintain the accuracy and integrity of all treasury records.
- Cash Flow Forecasting
Maintain and enhance cash flow forecasting models by analyzing cash inflows and outflows, supporting accurate liquidity planning and informed treasury decision-making.
- Process & Workflow Management
Manage payment workflow processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and streamline treasury functions.
- Banking Relationships
Coordinate with banking partners and financial institutions to support daily treasury activities, resolve operational matters, and sustain effective banking relationships under the guidance of the Treasury Operations Manager.
- Policy & Compliance
Support the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements, governance standards, and organizational objectives.
Evaluate and support the implementation of treasury technology solutions and process automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and overall treasury effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze key treasury-related financial risks
, including interest rate exposure, foreign currency exposure, and liquidity risks, providing relevant analysis and insights to support effective risk identification and mitigation decisions. - Support the development and implementation of treasury risk mitigation strategies and financial instruments
, including appropriate hedging and liquidity management approaches, ensuring alignment with treasury policies, risk frameworks, and business objectives. - Maintain visibility over treasury risk exposures and related controls
, supporting accurate reporting, compliance with internal risk management procedures, and timely escalation of potential risks to the Treasury Operations Manager.
- Ensure adherence to applicable financial regulations, banking requirements, industry standards, and internal treasury policies, maintaining awareness of regulatory changes and assessing their potential impact on treasury operations.
- Execute and monitor end-to-end payment processes for suppliers, employees, and other stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, timely settlement, proper authorization, and compliance with approved payment controls and governance requirements.
- Maintain appropriate documentation, audit trails, and supporting records for treasury transactions, supporting internal reviews, audits, and compliance assessments in coordination with the Treasury Operations Manager.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or any business or finance-related discipline.
- Certifications (e.g., CTP or similar) are considered advantageous.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience is required.
- Diploma’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or any business or finance-related discipline. (Should be at least 2 years.)
