We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership and oversee all finance, accounting, governance, and internal control functions. The CFO will be responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening internal controls, and supporting executive decision-making through sound financial planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the organization's financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial sustainability initiatives.
- Oversee all accounting operations, including financial reporting, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and period-end closing activities.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, treasury activities, and financial performance to optimize organizational resources.
- Oversee financial transactions, ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation, and compliance with approved financial policies.
- Establish and maintain a robust internal control framework to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, governance requirements, and internal policies.
- Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and executive insights to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Monitor financial KPIs, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions to improve operational and financial performance.
- Lead financial risk management activities, including liquidity planning, financial controls, and business continuity considerations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.
- Develop, review, and continuously improve finance policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Partner with executive leadership to support strategic initiatives through financial analysis and business insights.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
- Extensive leadership experience in finance, accounting, financial planning, budgeting, governance, and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, internal controls, treasury management, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience working with executive leadership, Boards of Directors, and external auditors.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, SOCPA, CFA, or MBA are highly desirable.
