We are currently looking for a Financial Controller to join a leading industrial Joint Venture in Saudi Arabia.
This is a key finance position working closely with the CFO and senior management team, with responsibility for financial reporting, controlling, FP&A, governance and business performance.
Key responsibilities:- Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and reporting
- Ensure accurate financial statements in line with IFRS and local requirements
- Manage financial consolidation across relevant JV entities and business units
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Prepare financial analysis, scenario planning and management reports
- Monitor revenue, margins, operating costs, profitability, working capital and cash flow
- Partner with business leaders to understand performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Strengthen financial governance, internal controls and risk management
- Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions
- Ensure effective use of ERP and financial systems
- Drive finance process improvement, automation and standardization
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Professional qualification such as CPA, SOCPA, CMA or equivalent is strongly preferred
- Strong practical knowledge of IFRS
- Solid experience across financial controlling, accounting, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
- Experience with financial consolidation and multi-entity reporting
- Strong understanding of internal controls, governance, compliance and risk management
- Hands-on experience with SAP or another major ERP system
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Experience in a JV, multinational, industrial, manufacturing or project-based environment is an advantage
- Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working with senior management, auditors, shareholders and business functions
