About the RoleTo lead, design, and scale the organization's licensed advisory business line in Riyadh. Reporting to the CEO, this role is a foundational hire responsible for structuring client portfolio frameworks, overseeing suitability models, and building a high-performing advisory team. This position directs the advisory function, ensuring total compliance with market conduct and client protection rules.
Responsibilities1. Advisory Governance & Suitability
- Suitability Frameworks: Design and oversee client risk-profiling and suitability assessment frameworks prior to issuing any advice
- Portfolio Construction: Structure diversified asset allocation strategies and model portfolios, ensuring all guidance aligns with client risk boundaries
- Disclosure Standards: Review and approve all advisory disclosure statements, fee structures, and conflict-of-interest logs
- Policy Enforcement: Partner closely with Compliance and Risk teams to maintain a zero-breach environment across all advisory activities
- Team Construction: Recruit, train, and manage a lean team of certified investment advisors as the business grows
- Product Alignment: Work with regional product teams to localize the application's advisory, wealth tools, and market insight features for Saudi users
- Client Engagement: Manage relationships with premium and High-Net-Worth (HNW) platform investors, providing macro market insights
- Regulatory Representation: Act as the technical point of contact for the advisory business line during routine CMA inspections and audits

- 7-10 years of relevant experience in Advisory and Capital Markets
- 5+ years of people management experience
- CME-1 and CME-4 Certificate
- Prior experience at an asset management firm, wealth management platform, or investment bank (institutional coverage) strongly preferred
- Demonstrated working knowledge of advisory policies, procedures, KYC, suitability frameworks, and internal controls
- Must meet the CMA's fit-and-proper requirements
- Fluency in Arabic and English is required
- Market Knowledge: Deep structural understanding of local & international investment
- Fintech Mindset: Prior experience or strong comfort working within an app-based brokerage or advisory environment
