Pharmacist job in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and reliable Pharmacist to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of pharmaceuticals and be capable of accurately dispensing medications. Responsibilities include providing advice, counseling, and dispensing medications to customers while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Dispense medications according to prescriptions provided by physicians or other authorized prescribers.
  • Provide accurate information concerning drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage instructions.
  • Compound medications as prescribed by physicians or other authorized prescribers.
  • Ensure accuracy of all medication orders.
  • Monitor patient records to ensure that all medications are up-to-date.
  • Provide advice on general healthcare topics such as diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
  • Adhere to safety regulations when handling hazardous materials.
  • Keep up with current developments in pharmacy services by attending seminars or conferences when necessary.
    • Qualifications &

    Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or related field required.
  • Must possess a valid license from the Saudi Ministry of Health.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, side effects, dosage instructions, storage requirements, etc.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and work well under pressure.
