Role purpose
To build and maintain strong business partnerships with key stakeholders/Payers to ensure the success of implementing full access strategies of the company’s portfolio in terms of indication, positioning, accessibility of the product and maximize short- and long-term business plans.
- Identify access gaps for near to launch and current products as part of life cycle management (reimbursement and/or payor limitation, government budget allocation, major Health Care institution priorities).
- Lead the communication with top customers in NUPCO and MOH primarily.
- Lead various national projects in collaboration with other functions, demonstrating leadership skills.
- Work with internal/external stakeholders to ensure full accessibility for J&J products in all accounts as per the planned timelines.
- Build and maintain strong business partnerships with key stakeholders in all accounts at area level.
- Maximize J&J's numbers in all tenders and protect our position versus competitors or generics.
- Ensure deliveries to the CMS on timely basis, with close monitoring of demand and supply.
- Design a strategic, clear account action plan with BU alignment by applying the strategic partnership planning approach.
- Ensure adequate stock levels at the account level with reasonable expiry dates.
- Have full coverage of the assigned territory in KSA (HCPs, purchasers, PTC committee and all other stakeholders).
- Drive formulary inclusion in the assigned account to accelerate access and reimbursement of the medication.
- Coding creation/renewal and tender management.
- Liaise between sales, local agent & CMS through attending cross-functional meetings and ensure alignments on executing the strategies.
- Ensure the implementation of tactical marketing plans is in line with the local business strategy and meets the agreed budget.
- Conduct planned activities linked to the brand value propositions on timely basis to accelerate medication access and reimbursement.
- Continuous follow up and providing feedback to BULs.
- Liaise with sales, medico-marketing & Market access teams to develop tactical plans.
- Maintain visibility on competitor activities and update Business Units with market insights.
- Stay on top of business factors (budget restrictions, price reduction pressure and market dynamics).
- Involve Sales, medico marketing & Market access teams early when facing market challenges/dynamics.
- Regularly update stakeholders on formulary inclusion.

- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with strong exposure to Market Access, Strategic Account Management.
- Proven experience working with MOH, NUPCO, payers, and formulary/PTC committees.
- Strong knowledge of tender management and access strategies in Saudi Arabia.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage complex national projects.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
- Strong business acumen with solid understanding of healthcare systems and market dynamics.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Willingness to travel within the Kingdom.
