Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Supervises daily work activities of subordinates, Central Sterile Supply Distribution (CSSD) personnel.Checks work progress and upon completion to ensure that it meets established standards.Assists with scheduling of staff. Assigns work to staff as needed to meet changing requirement.Evaluates performance of staff. Counsels staff to improve performance and recommends disciplinary actions.Ensures that all equipment and materials are available as needed, and that equipment is operated and maintained properly. Ensures that employees follow safe work practices. Informs Manager of problems which arise and recommends corrective action.Determines training needs. Arranges for any needed training. Assists with training and orientation.Assists with maintenance and documentation of supply, instrument, and equipment requirement for patient care.Ensures the correct devices are packaged invasive patient procedures.Ensures that adequate inventory levels of supplies and instruments are available, and initiates replacement requests to meet anticipated needs. Initiates requests for equipment repair and maintain es records of these requests.Follows all Hospital’s related andli>Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as applicable.Performs other related duties as assigned.Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor Degree in Operating and Sterilization filed, or other related discipline is required.
Experience
Required:
Two (2) years of related experience in CSSD is required.
Other Requirements/
Certifications:
Current Registration from country of origin and Saudi commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) is required.
