Assists with the supervision of the Clinical Neurophysiology Section, and maintains designated responsibility for a defined procedural area.

• Performs clinical/technical duties including pro-rata on-call, including all tasks related to the following procedures:
  Electroencephalography(EEG), Evoked Potentials (EPs), Nerve Conduction Studies(NCS)/Electromyography(EMG), Long Term Monitoring(LTM), intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM), Pulse Oximetry(Pox), Autonomic Studies and Sleep Studies
• Assists with the supervision of the day-to-day service of the Neurophysiology Laboratory as assigned
• Acts as a supervisor during absences of the Manager, Neurophysiology Laboratory
• Assists with ensuring that all laboratory equipment are in safe working condition and laboratory materials and supplies are available
• Participates in the development and modification of laboratory policies and standards of practice. Assists with ensuring that all Hospital and laboratory policies and standards of practice are followed.
• Assists with the implementation of quality management and quality improvement programs in the laboratory
• Acts as a liaison between the medical and technical staff of the Laboratory. Liaises with other Departments at the Hospital as required.

Master’s, Bachelor’s, or Associate Degree/Diploma Degree in Clinical Neurophysiology or other related discipline is required.

Four (4) years of related experience including two (2) years in a seniority position with Master’s or six (6) years with Bachelor’s Degree of similar requirements is required or eight (8) years with Associate Degree/ Diploma or program is required.

• Current Registration from country of origin and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) is required.
• Board registration in EEG/Electrodiagnostics is required.
• Certification through examination from an accredited Electroneuro diagnostic Program.
